Valley Morning Star: New housing comes to La Posada Providencia

SAN BENITO — La Posada Providencia in San Benito has a new structure within its sanctuary.

The newest addition to La Posada’s grounds is a 1,000-square-foot, three-bedroom, two-bathroom, pre-manufactured home.

“This new home will allow Casa Carolina to function solely for our clients and families,” La Posada Program Director Sister Zita Telkamp said.

“We are grateful to all the donors and supporters who made this expansion possible.”

La Posada Providencia was founded and sponsored by the Sisters of Divine Providence, a ministry for people in crisis from around the world, who are seeking legal refuge in the United States.
