(SAN BENITO, Texas) La Posada Providencia’s annual fundraiser has found a new home.La Posada, a shelter for indigent immigrants, asylees and asylum seekers, will host its annual Hands & Hearts Brunch and Auction at La Sierra Event Center in Harlingen on Saturday, February 6, 2016, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Brunch will be served between 10 – 10:45 a.m. All proceeds will benefit the homeless men, women and children served by the shelter.
Tickets purchased prior to the event are $40 per person.
Tickets purchased at the door are $45 per person.

La Posada Providencia, founded and sponsored by the Sisters of Divine Providence, is a ministry for people in crisis from around the world, who are seeking legal refuge in this country. The shelter staff provides a safe and welcoming home; mentors to promote self-sufficiency and cultural integration; and imparts values which witness God’s Providence in our world.
