Several temporary shelters popped up last summer in the Rio Grande Valley during an influx of undocumented immigrant children crossing the border illegally.
One shelter has been around for years helping immigrants and refugees from around the world, and they are the ones asking for a helping hand.
La Posada Providencia shelter in San Benito has been around for about 25 years helping those that come here seeking safety and a better future.
