2022 Hands & Hearts Brunch Postponed

2022 Hands & Hearts Brunch Postponed

Many of us were looking forward to coming together for our annual Hands & Hearts Brunch. Unfortunately, considering growing concerns around Coronavirus (COVID-19) and its variants La Posada has made the decision to postpone the 2022 event to protect the health and wellbeing of our community. As you can imagine, planning for this event begins many months prior to the actual day. At the time of preparation, we felt an event could be held and were hopeful the risks posed by COVID-19 would gradually minimize however, recent updates have shown otherwise.

The signature fundraiser initiated in 2011 by La Posada’s previous Director of Development, Ana Schulz, has taken place for the past ten years. The morning gala serves a delicious brunch and includes a silent and live auction, attendance prizes, live entertainment, and other event attractions. The event is very popular in the San Benito-Harlingen area and attracts upwards of 375 guests annually.

We are saddened our popular gathering will not take place this year, but we must prioritize the safety of our community. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We will miss you and the excitement surrounding our festive Hands & Hearts Brunch.
