Plan Your Visits, Inquire about Volunteering and Drop-off Donations
Onsite Visits and Volunteering
To protect our clients, staff, and the greater community from possible COVID-19 exposure, La Posada accepts onsite visitors on a limited basis. With advance notice, we will conduct tours outside of our facility. Unfortunately, we cannot yet offer tours inside our shelter buildings. La Posada truly appreciates visitor and volunteer interest. We value our volunteers and could not accomplish what we do without the incredible help and perspective they bring.
To ensure the best visitor experience and to inquire about volunteer opportunities, we ask that you contact the volunteer coordinator at volunteer@lppshelter.org. For more details, please visit our volunteer page at https://LPPShelter.org/get-involved/volunteer/

Our Expert
Dear Friends of La Posada Providencia,
I began my journey, as Executive Director, here at La Posada in January of this year, 2023. Let me first say how honored and excited I am to be part of such a beautiful and life-changing ministry. Having been raised in the ministry; love, service, and sacrifice have been engrained in every fiber of my being and I have spent the last 12 years in pastoral ministry. I now follow the leading of The Lord, in my service at La Posada Providencia. I have a Bachelor of Practical Ministries from the Evangeline Booth College in Atlanta, GA and have served in some facet of ministry for most of my life. I have a beautiful family of 6 including my wife Wendy, sons: Isaac, Josiah and Jonathan, and daughter Selah. We love people, animals, outside activities, and fellowshipping with each other. What I find most rewarding about my ministry at La Posada Providencia is the fellowship we have with our friends here. Celebrating birthdays, accomplishments, victories are a great joy and encouraging and uplifting one another through life’s challenges is a blessing. I am grateful for the opportunity I have, to serve not just a population, but a people, a community, a nation, and a world full of God’s beautiful children.
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers as the Lord leads me forward.
Sincerely,
Benjamin Deuel,
Executive Director
