The new medical room at La Posada Providencia

La Posada Providencia prioritizes the holistic care of its clients. We believe that each client must have access to mental and physical health services. To better meet these needs right here at the shelter, La Posada created a medical room for our clients. Our volunteer doctor, Dr. Erica Jarrett, will see clients weekly in the new room. The supplies and equipment needed for the room were donated by Save the Children, a leading humanitarian organization for children. The donated items include a medical bed, a scale, a stool, a chair, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the clients, such as masks, hand sanitizer, and gloves. The supplies and equipment given to La Posada for the medical room from Save the Children have been an immense blessing, and we are grateful for their incredible kindness.
