What is #GivingTuesday?
#GivingTuesday is a global giving movement that has been built by individuals, families, organizations, businesses and communities in all 50 states and in countries around the world. Millions of people come together to support and champion the causes they believe in and the communities in which they live.

When is #GivingTuesday?
#GivingTuesday is celebrated this year on November 28, 2017, following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.). Americans have two days to take advantage of super sales – Black Friday and Cyber Monday.  #GivingTuesday, is the day for giving back and has become the opening day of the giving season: a reminder of the “reason for the season.” Together, by participating in this occasion of giving, people are creating a new ritual for the annual calendar in the U.S.
