La Posada says goodbye and offers best wishes to Ana Schulz this week. Ana has been part of the La Posada family for over 20 years. Under Ana’s leadership as a grant writer and Director of Development, La Posada has grown exponentially. Grants have funded not only guests’ basic needs, but also educational materials for English as a Second Language (ESL) and life skills, improvements on the shelter buildings, and the addition of a comprehensive program for recycling and ecological care for the earth. Ana also initiated Hands & Hearts, the annual brunch, and auction, the signature fundraiser for La Posada.
Executive Director Magda Bolland said, “I appreciate all the hard work Ana has done for La Posada for many years -and we will miss her. She has played an integral role in the organization -and she will be hard to replace. I would personally like to wish Ana the best of success in all her future endeavors.”
Thanks, Ana, from everyone at La Posada. You have made a difference for so many people who have come to La Posada’s doors in their journey to find safety and a better life. Our prayers go with you for the next step of your journey.
