April is National Volunteer Month, a time to honor those who volunteer their time and talents to make the world a better place. La Posada Providencia Shelter relies on volunteers to complete our daily tasks. It would be very difficult for most NGOs if volunteers did not donate their time and passion to the topics they care about. Volunteers discovered innovative methods to aid even throughout the pandemic. Your actions were recognized, from Zoom Classes, counseling, and medical among many other important tasks. We are also ecstatic to see volunteers returning to La Posada Providencia directly to our shelter.
“We are blessed to have amazing volunteers who have the heart to give their time to make a difference in someone’s life and take care of mother earth. Our volunteers are inspiring they give themselves to our mission which is at their core. They remind everyone around them what being human is all about. We are grateful to have inspiring volunteers who go beyond to help us. They all bring so much hope to our future. Volunteers are our heroes who contribute to making someone’s life better.” Laura Sutherland
If you volunteer at La Posada Providencia or any other organization, we applaud you for helping others, providing vital services, and giving part of yourself to your community.
Thank you, a lot!
