Seven people from the General Board of Church & Society of the United Methodist Church visited La Posada Providencia Oct. 22 to learn more about the mission of the shelter and listen to the stories of clients. These men and women will take the information and educate other clergy and church members within the United Methodist Church about the myths and truths of immigrants in the United States.
